Details and Additional Information

Kundalini is a challenging form of yoga that combines sequenced postures with rhythmic movement, breath technique, mantra and meditation to develop strength and stamina.

During this day-long workshop we will specifically target the main systems of the body including the…

Lymphatic- Defends the body against invasion by disease-causing agents, and includes a network of vessels that assists in circulating body fluids.

Respiratory – Includes the lungs. Proper functioning allows for the exchange of oxygen and gases in and out the body.

Circulatory –   Made up of vessels and muscles that help control the flow of blood around the body. Its main parts are the heart, arteries, capillaries and veins.

Nervous - The nervous system has many, many parts. It is divided into two main systems, the central nervous system (CNS) and the peripheral nervous system. It assists in sending instructions between the brain and the body.

Endocrine – Encompasses the main glands of our body, the guardians of our health. It controls the rate at which we grow, our feelings of hunger, our body temperature, and more.

Digestive - Responsible for the digestion, absorption, and assimilation of fluids, macro- and micro-nutrients (vitamins and minerals) and the elimination of waste from the gastrointestinal tract.
